Online Didactic Training

The Indiana State Department of Health requires individuals who desire to obtain a Limited Radiography license to complete a course of training approved by the Department. ZapIT Education provides an approved online education course consisting of lectures and quizzes that include the curriculum required by the Department. Our online course helps the student to acquire a basic knowledge and practical understanding of the fundamentals of radiation safety and the daily operation of diagnostic x-ray equipment. We feel that our format of lecture, quiz, practice examinations, and review is the optimal way for students to retain the information necessary to pass the licensing examination.

How to Register

Upon registration the student will be sent the textbook "Radiography Essentials of Limited Practice" , 5th edition, by Bruce W. Long, Eugene D. Frank, and Ruth Ann Ehrlich, as well as the positioning book "Bontrager's Handbook Of Radiographic Positioning and Techniques" 8th edition, by Kenneth L. Bontrager and John P. Lampignano . Reference to the textbook will be made throughout the course. Once the student successfully completes the program, a completion certificate is e-mailed to them. In addition, clinical competency forms will be provided upon request. The forms can be used during clinical training at the student's place of employment.
